Common questions

What does a complete GCC setup with you include?

We advise on the right entity structure, incorporate the company, complete tax and employment registrations, open the bank account, handle FDI and FEMA reporting for the capital you bring in, put intercompany agreements and a transfer pricing model in place, and set up accounting and payroll so the centre is ready to hire and invoice from day one.

Should we set up a subsidiary, a branch or a liaison office?

It depends on what the India team will do, how it will be funded and how profits flow back to headquarters. Most GCCs are set up as a private limited subsidiary providing services to the parent. We walk you through the tax, regulatory and practical trade-offs before you decide.

How long does it take to get a GCC operational?

Incorporation and core registrations typically take a few weeks once documents from the parent are ready, and banking and payroll follow on from there. We share a step-by-step timeline at the start and keep your HQ team updated at each stage.

Can you work with our US finance team and auditors?

Yes. We send monthly financials and commentary in the format headquarters needs, join review calls with your US leadership, and coordinate with both your Indian and US auditors.

Do you handle transfer pricing for the India entity?

Yes. We set up the intercompany agreements and pricing model, maintain transfer pricing documentation and support assessments. Our team includes a Chartered Accountant who led transfer pricing assessments at Larsen & Toubro and Jaguar Land Rover India.

Can you represent the company before Indian authorities?

Yes. We handle tax notices, assessments and appeals, and act as the company’s finance contact for banks and auditors in India.
